Abstract:
Abstract Businesses are increasingly using transformative entrepreneurship for sustainability. It is a major revolution that is bringing new perspectives on sustainability through the development of new competencies and sustainable business models. Micro, small, and medium-sized business owners who are female have a great deal of potential for innovation and for reducing the consequences of climate change and environmental degradation. This chapter will address the term sustainable entrepreneurship and the motivation of female entrepreneurs to work in the circular economy. This chapter also highlights the trade-off of technology on female digital entrepreneurship. The chapter concludes with a case study about ‘Chiara Ferragni’, a successful Italian influencer and female digital international entrepreneur in the fashion industry.
