Rik Coeckelbergs: The Banking Scene
Chapter Chapter 6 in A New Ethos in Banking, 2024, pp 85-102 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract While regulations are necessary to set boundaries, they often stifle innovation. This chapter explores the delicate balance between compliance and the freedom to innovate, emphasising that regulation alone cannot define a bank's ethos. Instead, banks need to embrace ethics beyond the regulatory framework.
