Chapter Chapter 2 in Women’s Career Development in Virtual Remote Work Environments, 2025, pp 23-67 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract As researchers and practitioners seek to understand the career development needs of women in VR work environments, empirical studies are needed to support ideas and opinions. These studies must be grounded in valid theories and frameworks that are applicable to VR work and career development. This chapter provides career development, organization, e-learning, and other theories including intersectionality and diversity intelligence® that are applicable to the Women and Minorities Self-Assessment and Sufficiency Career Development Model to help understand the career development needs of women in VR work environments.
