Chapter Chapter 7 in The Historical Evolution of International Business, 2025, pp 167-171 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This commentary is a review and assessment of Chapter 6 by Celso Pinho in the context of other recent related literature. The chapter is the latest compilation and survey of the evolution of IB syllabi and major IB textbooks for a long period that ended in 2022. A brief examination of the literature in this review indicated that prior research covered periods that ended earlier. While limited in its generalizability, the main finding in this chapter is that the evolution of topics in IB texts (and Syllabi) has reflected the changing focus of IB scholarship over time.
