Abstract:
Abstract Developments between 1947, when the American aid to Greece started pouring into the country, up to the end of the Greek Civil War and the outbreak of the Korean War, are discussed in this chapter. The transition of AMAG to the Marshall Plan and the views of American economists on industrialization and the future of the Greek economy are also discussed in the context of the Civil War.
