Chapter Chapter 14 in Navigating Economic Storms and Emerging from Fragility, 2026, pp 181-184 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Sierra Leone’s journey through a myriad of economic, social, and environmental challenges has demonstrated the resilience and potential of this nation. This book has examined the critical elements necessary for Sierra Leone to navigate a complex economic landscape. These range from tackling fiscal challenges and containing debt vulnerabilities, to reducing inflation, to strengthening institutional frameworks—notably at the central bank—to fostering economic stability and inclusive, sustainable, and green growth through transformative reforms. This conclusion pulls together a few of the key insights from the chapters and offers general recommendations.
