Polyhedra and Cups in Locally Convex Spaces
Paolo d’Alessandro
Chapter Chapter 9 in On Range Space Techniques, Convex Cones, Polyhedra and Optimization in Infinite Dimensions, 2025, pp 165-176 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In this chapter we introduce the concept of polyhedron in a locally convex environment. We study polyhedra from range space point of view, showing that, using this approach, the investigation becomes a whole matter of theory of cones. Along the way we state a support version of the KM Theorem.
