Chapter Chapter 10 in Sustainability in Business Management, Volume 1, 2025, pp 273-303 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Corporate advocacy for policy change is increasingly recognized as a critical tool for integrating sustainability into business management and addressing global challenges such as climate change, social inequity, and systemic poverty. Unlike traditional lobbying—which often focuses narrowly on advancing corporate interests—corporate advocacy rooted in sustainability expands the role of businesses. It positions companies as co-creators of solutions alongside policymakers, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and other key stakeholders.
