Abstract:
Abstract The Base of the Pyramid (BoP) concept focuses on the large segment of the world’s population that resides in low-income categories, particularly in emerging and developing markets (Prahalad, 2004 [51]). This population, often referred to as the “base” of the global economic pyramid, includes roughly 4 billion people who live on less than $2.50 per day.
