Making Performing Combinations
Carine Vinardi
Chapter Chapter 6 in Sustainable Performance in the Digital Age, 2025, pp 227-252 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In the previous chapter, we explored the key points of addressing Lean and Digital deployments separately in a meaningful way, against their selected performance criteria. In this chapter, we will first discuss the chronology of these two approaches: does it make more sense to implement Lean before or after Digital? Additionally, we will consider how to tackle both together. The second part of the chapter will focus on the organization and skills necessary for a combined deployment, concluding with the changes that this may require from companies.
