Abstract: Abstract This chapter focuses on how to structure multivariate data in R and how to select and filter datasets. It introduces descriptive statistics and demonstrates how to generate a simulated dataset. This chapter also shows how to perform imputation for missing data and introduces the Iris and Crab datasets—two multivariate datasets that will be used throughout this book.
