Chapter Chapter 6 in Ferdinando Galiani, 2026, pp 293-342 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The Chap. 6 deals with Galiani’s multiple intellectual interests cultivated between 1751 and 1759, the years in which, after a journey to Italy to promote Della Moneta, he abandoned his monetary studies to concentrate on a variety of literary and scholarly interests. And these were also the years of the break with Intieri’s group that marked the rise of Antonio Genovesi and the foundation of the first university chair specifically for the new economic science.
