Abstract: Abstract The current distribution of energy rentsenergy rents evolved over the course of the past two hundred years. However, because it is becoming increasingly tenuous as income and wealth becomes more and more concentrated in the hands of few, the question that arises is: are there alternatives? This chapter addresses this question in detail.
