Chapter Chapter 8 in Energy Rents and Income Distribution, 2025, pp 143-152 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Given that the energy rentsenergy rents approach offers a novel approach to wealth creation by focusing on the underlying physicsphysics, it provides a revisionist interpretation of economic developmenteconomic development as originating not in more and more capital or more and more labor, but rather in the generation of energy rents. Hence, the focus moves from the broadly defined organization input, to the key driver of all material wealth, energy.
