Chapter Chapter 20 in Contemporary Careers and Occupational Fields, 2026, pp 339-351 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract As a complement to the qualitative chapters analyzing each interview in depth, this chapter provides a quantitative illustration of the interview contents with regard to the prominence of the three Social Chronology Framework (SCF) perspectives and the four Bourdieusian forms of capital, based on the available interview transcripts and AI-generated dictionaries of terms related to each of the seven constructs. While the prominence of the SCF perspectives and capital types differed considerably between interviews, there were no systematic differences between the three fields of the interviewees (i.e., science, sports, and religion).
