Abstract This case study is based on an intervention that is embedded in an honors-level module, food service management systems. This module aims to equip students with the knowledge, attitudes, and skills needed to use management systems in the hospitality industry to boost revenue, fostering problem-solving and creativity in their application. This initiative seeks to address the lack of entrepreneurial skills in South African.
