Chapter Chapter 5 in Financial Social Media, 2026, pp 59-88 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In the academic literature, there are theoretical models that explore how posters interact with one another, how they process and exchange information, and how they make trading decisions based on financial social media (FSM, hereafter) content (see Lu 2009; Lu and Mizrach 2011). Recently, a comprehensive theoretical model that captures the overall value of an FSM platform was developed by Zhang (2025).
