Chapter Chapter 4 in Numbers from all Angles, 2026, pp 57-76 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract We study number theoretic functions. These are functions defined on the positive integers with values in $$\mathbb {C}$$ C . In the context of number theory, the value typically depends on the arithmetic nature of its argument (i.e. whether it is a prime, and so forth), rather than just on the size of its argument.
