Chapter Chapter 7 in Corporations as Grand Strategists, 2026, pp 145-167 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The Stewardly corporation is a financial institution that makes a major contribution to its home state’s grand strategy while projecting an image of neutrality and autonomy. This archetype secures insider positions across corporations and governments worldwide, embedding itself deeply in the structures of global influence. Its smart power comes from the fusion of elite networks and technical expertise, enabling it to influence markets and decisions in ways that substitute for overt political control. Operating across borders and regardless of creed, it seeks to promote prosperity and preserve balance of power under its stewardship.
