A chapter in Knowledge Management and Innovation, Volume I, 2026, pp 49-82 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter examines how green knowledge sharing (GKS) influences green collaboration process (GCP) and green innovation (GI) in Iraqi public universities. Based on data from 3589 faculty members, the chapter finds that GKS positively affects both GCP and GI, with GCP mediating this relationship. Using PLS-SEM, results highlight the role of collaborative, knowledge-driven environments in promoting sustainability through initiatives such as waste reduction and energy-saving practices. A conceptual framework is proposed, offering theoretical insights and practical strategies for embedding sustainability in higher education, especially in resource-limited or post-conflict settings like Iraq.
