Chapter 15 in The Origins of Holomorphic Dynamics, 2026, pp 217-226 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The history of mathematics concerns paradigms before theorems and definitions. The previous chapters have illustrated that how function composition played the role of a ‘deus ex machina’ working behind the scenes of infinite sums, products, and iterations. The central role of studies in physics in the XVIII century saw research follow a circular path where natural events were the source of inspiration for new studies and the validation of experimental models (§ 2.2).
