Chapter 8 in Strategic Thinking with AI, 2026, pp 335-380 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter bridges theory and practice by presenting real-world case studies of AI-augmented strategy across healthcare, banking, and manufacturing. Each case highlights the challenges organizations faced, the AI tools they deployed, and the measurable outcomes achieved. Building on the Strategic AI Integration Framework (SAIIF, introduced in Chap. 7 and further applied here), readers are guided to assess AI readiness at project, functional, and enterprise levels. In addition, the chapter introduces the strategic intelligence ecosystem (SIE) as a complementary lens that will be explored in greater detail in Chap. 10 , positioning it within a broader trajectory toward ecosystem-wide strategic alignment.
