Chapter 6 in The Governance of Luxembourg Investment Vehicles, Asset Managers, and Asset Owners, 2026, pp 219-242 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This chapter explores the broader organizational ecosystem in which Luxembourg funds operate, highlighting that governance is shaped through the distribution of accountability among multiple actors. Key participants identified include promoters (initiators), authorized managers, administrators, and auditors. The chapter places special emphasis on the depositary as an independent control function and valuation as a governance-sensitive task. It also examines the regulatory boundaries of marketing and investor access, as well as the internal control frameworks required for regulated entities.
