Abstract:
Abstract This is a very brief essay giving some comments on the basic importance of the notion of the Grassmann manifold, also called Grassmann variety or Grassmannian, for short. In the second part a new idea is sketched, how a generalized notion of the Grassmann manifold can be introduced in a noncommutative geometric space.
