Abstract:
Abstract In this paper, we discuss part of the mathematical production of B. Segre, focusing on his contributions on families of plane curves and their moduli, especially in the years 1928/1930. Our purpose is to illustrate the relevance of his work to today’s research activity on the subject. We will take the opportunity to survey recent development on these areas of research.
