Chapter 17 in Introduction to Mathematical Analysis, 2013, pp 427-449 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In the previous chapter we developed, with the help of analysis, an understanding of Hilbert (and Banach) spaces as a kind of satisfactory generalization of linear algebra to infinite-dimensional spaces. In particular, we developed modified notions of duals and bases which behave well in this situation.
