Abstract:
Abstract Let E be a compact subset of the plane $$\overline{\mathbb{C}}$$ . A map T : E $$\rightarrow\overline{\mathbb{C}}$$ is called a contraction if $$|T(z)-T(\zeta)|\;\leqslant \;|z-\zeta|$$ for all $$z, \zeta\;\in\;E$$ .
