Abstract: Abstract This chapter introduces the Mathematica package LaplaceAndzTransforms V5.0 concerning z-transformations. It can be read in parallel to Chapter 2. Readers already familiar with the theory of z-transformation may start with this chapter. It is assumed that the reader has a sufficient level of expertise with Mathematica. At any case we recommend to first read Section 3.1 of the foregoing chapter.
