Finite Probability Spaces
M. Kline
Chapter Chapter 4 in Mathematical Finance and Probability, 2003, pp 73-87 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Before taking up the study of general one-period models involving an arbitrary but finite number of “states” and “securities” we will introduce in this and the next chapter some concepts from probability theory. We shall be concerned only with finite probability spaces and, at this stage, we will only describe the elements of the theory. More advanced aspects will be developed in later chapters.
