Eulers früheste Studie zum Dreikörperproblem
Eberhard Knobloch
A chapter in Amphora, 1992, pp 389-405 from Springer
Abstract:
Zusammenfassung Euler was very interested in the astronomical three body problem since the beginning of his scientific career up to the end of his life. The article presents the first edition together with a German translation and a short commentary of his study De trium corporum mutua attractione which was written about 1730 and seems to be his earliest, still purely geometrical approach to a solution of the three body problem.
