Chapter Chapter 6 in Pisot and Salem Numbers, 1992, pp 101-117 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The purpose of this chapter is to study the limit points of the sets S and T. In particular we will show that S is a closed set and that the closure $${\bar T}$$ of T contains U. Even more than in the previous chapter, we will notice that while a great deal is known about the set 5, very little is known about the set T. Thus we still do not know if the only limit points of T are S-numbers.
