Chapter X in Discrete Stochastics, 1992, pp 235-255 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In the preceding chapters we have deloped stochastics as a mathematical theory with a particular motivation: to cope with random phenomena in qualitative and, above all, in quantitative terms. We had more or less left aside a few questions of principle, such as what is random, after all? what is the spiritual meaning of probability?
