A chapter in Proceedings of the International Congress of Mathematicians, 1995, pp 1270-1278 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The paper is devoted to the homogenization theory for partial differential equations, which describe various physical processes in strongly inhomogeneous media, i.e. media whose local physical characteristics rapidly oscillate in space. Therefore such differential equations either have rapidly oscillating coefficients or are considered in highly perforated domains with complicated microstructures.
