Chapter 8 in Markov's Theorem and 100 Years of the Uniqueness Conjecture, 2013, pp 159-182 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In this chapter, we study infinite words $$x = {X_1}{X_2}{X_3} \ldots,$$ indexed by $$\mathbb{N}$$ , over the alphabet {A, B}. We will discuss the main concepts and some of the highlights, and on the way, we will encounter several beautiful and unexpected connections to the Markov theme.
