Abstract: Abstract Let Ω be a bounded open subset in $$ \hbox{I\!R}^{N} $$ with smooth boundary ∂Ω and let f(x, s) be a real-valued Caratheodory function on $$ \Upomega\,\times\,\hbox{I\!R} $$ . We consider the semilinear Dirichlet problem.
