Abstract Since the beginning of my inquiries, Popper’s lesson fascinated me and I wondered why the propensity theory still raises debates and issues. I asked myself why Popper—in substance—missed his target in the probability theory whereas this giant of human thought achieved extraordinary results in other fields of research.
