Abstract:
Abstract Piazza Repubblica’s Skyscraper, a significant example of Milanese postwar architecture, is currently being studied in two research projects, both related to the PhD in Preservation of Architectural Heritage at Politecnico di Milano. Within the framework of these studies, the role played by the image is of exemplary importance in: relocating the building in its historical-cultural context, understanding the ideas that generated its form, analyzing its structure and construction techniques.
