Abstract: Abstract This Appendix provides more rigor for those who may desire more in-depth information surrounding §4 Gluing discs, §5 Slicing spheres, and §10 Dante’s 3-sphere. With regard to §4, we provide §A1 Flexing a disc and §A2 3-disc flex step. For §5 we provide the mathematics underlying the slicings of a 3-sphere — see §A5 Slices of a 3-sphere and §A6 Hyperplane slices of the 3-sphere. Both §A5 and §A6 require some technical background.
