Chapter Chapter 2 in Geometric Modeling in Probability and Statistics, 2014, pp 51-75 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter presents a few examples of usual statistical models (normal, lognormal, beta, gamma, Bernoulli, and geometric) for which we provide the Fisher metric Fisher metric explicitly and, if possible, the geodesics geodesics and α-autoparallel autoparallel curves. Some Fisher metrics will involve the use of non-elementary functions, such as the digamma and trigamma functions. trigamma function
