Chapter Chapter 3 in Spectral Theory and Applications of Linear Operators and Block Operator Matrices, 2015, pp 101-119 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In this chapter, we study the spectral theory of polynomially compact operator on a Banach space. First, we give some preliminary results concerning Fredholm operators which are developed in order to analyze the spectrum of polynomially compact operator on a Banach space. Second, we give some results on multiplicities and localization of the eigenvalues of polynomially compact operators. Finally, we present some results dealing with the polynomially Riesz operators.
