Abstract: Abstract In this chapter, we present preliminary notions and results on which this book is based, namely, the known properties of Fredholm operators in a Banach space, and some results on semi-Fredholm perturbations, Fredholm inverse, and quasi-Fredholm operator on Banach spaces.
