Chapter Chapter 21 in Fundamentals of Clinical Trials, 2015, pp 501-518 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract A multicenter trial is a collaborative effort that involves more than one independent center in enrolling and following study participants. Multicenter randomized clinical trials have a long and rich history, with Hill [1] and Greenberg [2] providing general discussions of methods in the middle of the twentieth century.
