Abstract: Abstract Before proceeding with any of the geometric construction procedures, it is deemed prudent to address certain basic procedures that are called upon by various construction procedures. When developing a computer program of any sizeable magnitude, there is usually a monitor or control program that kind of sets the scope and operation of the application. This program then calls other programs to perform certain dedicated major functions, and which in turn could call upon other smaller programs to perform more dedicated operations. When computers first came of being, there were programs and subprograms. The subprograms then became procedures, which were changed to subroutines or just plain routines, and now they have been renamed procedures. The term “algorithm” has also been applied to them. However, the term algorithm is more generic and pertains to the computational or non-computational steps employed to perform a specific operation which may or may not necessarily be a computer based set of instructions.
