Abstract:
Abstract We give an introduction to the categorical methods Categorical methods used in the book “Towards the Mathematics of Quantum Field Theory” (Paugam F, Towards the mathematics of quantum field theory. Springer, Cham, 2014), to which we refer for the details of our work and a list of references. The main interest of our approach is that it gives a clear mathematical status to the various “spaces of fields” that appear in the treatment of general classical and quantum gauge theories.
