Abstract: Abstract Most people have heard the term “Odds”, and know that it has something to do with the likelihood of obtaining a “successful” outcome in some sort of game or trial. If P represents the probability of “success”, then 1 − P is the probability of “not success”. The odds are: O = P 1 − P $$ O=\frac{P}{1-P} $$
