The Power of the Whole

Chapter 5 in From the Great Wall to Wall Street, 2017, pp 97-103 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The global financial crisis of 2008 was the most severe world financial crisis since the Great Depression of the 1930s. It exposed the fragility of the global financial system and the danger of contagion risks. It also tarnished the West’s reputation as the undisputed leader in economics and finance, and as guardian of global financial stability.
