Chapter Chapter 1 in Integral and Discrete Inequalities and Their Applications, 2016, pp 1-143 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract It is well-known that the classical integral inequalities, which furnish explicit bounds for an unknown function, have played a fundamental role in establishing the basis of the theory of differential and integral equations. Just for this reason, more and more researchers have found many useful inequalities in order to achieve their different desired goals. In this chapter, we shall collect some basic linear one-dimensional continuous integral inequalities which have found many important applications in integral equations.
