Abstract:
Abstract The transformative impact of digital technologies continues to be proven in business and society across the world. The question is whether and under which circumstances digital technologies can be used to solve social problems that have existed for long and is widespread. This paper attempts to identify the potential use of technologies such as 3D printing, robotics, sensors and analytics to prevent or solve problems in health, education, agriculture, housing and urban planning.
