Chapter Chapter 1 in A Complex Analysis Problem Book, 2016, pp 11-64 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This first chapter has essentially an algebraic flavor. The exercises use elementary properties of the complex numbers. A first definition of the exponential function is given, and we also meet Blaschke factors. These will appear in a number of other places in the book, and are key players in more advanced courses on complex analysis.
