Chapter Chapter 10 in Generalized Locally Toeplitz Sequences: Theory and Applications, 2017, pp 173-260 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In this chapter we present several applications of the theory of GLT sequences. Special attention is devoted to the most important among them, that is, the computation of the singular value and eigenvalue distribution of matrix-sequences arising from the numerical discretization of differential equations.
